Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 15, 2024 and get excited for a star-studded afternoon in Southwest Ohio at the Total Athlete Showcase! Opening the gates at 2:30 in the afternoon, this must-attend afternoon and evening promises an unforgettable experience celebrating sports, community, and celebrity.
It all begins with the GRAND OPENING OF THE JOHN WOODEN FAMILY FIELDHOUSE, a beacon of athletic excellence. Full schedule of events, including kid’s activities, are listed below the registration form.
Join us as we pay tribute to icons like NFL Head Coach John Harbaugh and Pro Tennis Champion and Coach Betsy McCormack at the exclusive Athletes in Action Hall of Faith Induction ceremony.
Community members and families are in for a treat with kid-friendly bounce houses, a tantalizing food truck festival, and a plethora of exciting sports activities and competitions. And let’s not forget the pulse-pounding collegiate soccer and baseball showdowns that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat as the event goes on. Gates open for the Total Athlete Showcase at 2:30p on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Parking will be available and the food trucks will be open and available.
Join us near the main entrance of the John Wooden Family Fieldhouse for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony and prayer for the facility.
Embrace the public’s first look at this premier athletic facility! Guests will be invited to find a seat around the Sarnecki Championship Court for the Athletes in Action Hall of Faith Induction Ceremony.
Athletes in Action has a rich history of supporting athletes and coaches along their faith journey. Inducting Coach John Harbaugh and Pro Tennis Champion & Coach Betsy McCormack into the Athletes in Action Hall of Faith is in recognition of their steadfast commitment to being a follower of Christ and leading others in that regard. The emcee for this event will be announced as the event approaches.

Wander over to the AIA Football Field and cheer on the Athletes in Action Summer Residential Soccer Program in a friendly competition against another summer prep team.
Enjoy listening to a moderated panel of professional and collegiate coaches as they discuss the art of coaching and motivating athletes along with anecdotes from their coaching careers.

Take a stroll over to baseball and make family memories and spend time watching the Xenia Scouts play on Grady’s Field at Browne Stadium right here on the Athletes in Action Sports Complex.
