Named for a legend

Coach Wooden was our first call.

When Dave Hannah had the vision to start Athletes in Action in 1966, he knew where to go for advice about basketball. He called John Wooden first. Coach Wooden helped shape AIA from the start, and the 7 Point Creed his father gave him became AIA’s “Keys to Life” award.

“The consummate teacher, he taught us that the best you are capable of is victory enough.” Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
